The new Dos Mentes single, “Rollin,” is a cruising groove filled with Summer funk

Last time we caught up with Nick Taylor (the man behind Dos Mentes), it was for our Heavy Rotation feature where we called out some of the best indie electronic artists making music this year. The track we highlighted then was “Loving You” — a funky, soul-driven house cut that explores the ups and downs of love. This week the LA-based producer is back with a new soulful groove called “Rollin” that will send you cruising.

“I made a disco track that personified summer and cruising down the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California in a convertible,” exaplains Nick when talking about the new track. “Then I heard one song lyric in my head I had to throw in there…. I’m pretty sure you will know the topline.”

Inspired by industry icons such as The Blessed Madonna and Purple Disco Machine, the music that Dos Mentes creates is a vibrant blend of house and disco. His tracks are more than just music; they’re expressions of joy and positivity, reflecting his belief in music as a tool for uplifting and inspiring listeners.

Check out the new single below, and let the good times roll.
