Royal
Imad-Roy El-Amine aka “Royal” is a producer out of Washington, D.C.
His EP Cycles was released last year and including the single “Round Two” which has been getting a lot of play recently. The song features vocals from an artist called Desktop and sounds similar to a Drake or Childish Gambino at times.
The EP is a nice blend of tightly produced electronic with UK style hip hop. Even the photography and the art direction that has gone into the project is very well done. Looking forward to seeing a full length effort by Royal in the future.
