Following the musical nomad Ooshmann around the planet as he explores where world music meets electronic

If I had to write up a list of dream jobs, “Musical Nomad” might be close to the top of the list. This is how electronic producer Ooshmann describes himself — a musical nomad who roams the world in search of the beating heart of each culture he encounters. With the power of music as his guide, Ooshmann aims to bridge the East and West. He aims to weave together the vibrant tapestry of world music with more popular electronic aesthetic. Sounds pretty sweet to me.

For his latest track, “Banh Mi La,” Ooshmann blends some organic house with a spacey break. The title of the track takes its inspiration from Vietnam where all the spoken words have been recorded at the One Pillar Pagoda in Hanoi.

Looking forward to where Ooshmann’s aural wanderlust takes him next.
