Germany-based electronic producer dedicates his new album to all of the 30kph speed signs around Berlin
If you are in search of lo-fi beats and dusty synths, Frank Ly’s new eight-track EP Zone 30 is what you are looking for.
The new EP sees Frank Ly moving away from a sample-based hip hop sound to a more experimental approach. It’s filled with ambient blissed-out melodies that are anchored by his minimalist layer of percussion.
“This is a collection of tunes I’ve written this year, in Berlin,” explains Frank. “[It is] dedicated to all the zone 30 signs around the city.”
