London-based record label Whities team up with the Anunaku project to explore the sounds of drums from around the world
Inspired by cosmology and ancient mythology, the Anunaku project is a continuation of TSVI’s debut album Inner Worlds and explores the use of various drums from around the world combined with elements of UK underground club music. The track “Bronze Age” is nothing but drums — a sound that taps into something celtic and tribal from our past. “Forgotten Tales” seems to borrow from a more South American sound. It features a more delicate melody in the beginning which then opens up to a rythmic groove.
