Bring on Summer
Maybe it’s the lingering winter that has me craving surf-rock lately, but I just can’t get enough of it. Between Inspired & the Sleep’s new release and all the great summer indie rock tracks coming out of SXSW this month, I’ve compiled a little summer playlist when the warm weather does finally arrive to the Northern hemisphere.
I recently added the English surf-pop rockers Goodbye Chanel to that list with their track “Foreva” and The War On Drugs latest single “Red Eyes.” “Foreva” will instantly transport you to sunny shores with a heavily reverbed guitar accompanied by dreamy sing-along vocals and “Red Eyes” will pick you up and rock you awake again.
