HalasanBazar
Although it’s a little strange to me conceptually, I still love Scandinavian Americana. HalasanBazar is a band from Copenhagen, Denmark that one of our Facebook friends suggested today. I haven’t been able to find a full album from them yet but I found a few tracks on Soundcloud and Myspace. I’m really digging “Everyone Dies”. It may be a stretch but for some reason it reminds me of The Mamas and The Papas classic “California Dreamin”. They have two shows coming up this summer if you happen to be in Denmark or Norway. Until then, check out Everyone Dies below.
While we’re on the top of Denmark, I’m really digging the Danish bands She Talks and Sink Ships. I hope they offer up some music on Soundcloud soon so we can share it . . . or better yet, maybe they’ll be really cool and send us a few mp3’s to share with you.
