Mura Masa – What If I Go?
We’ve been fans of British born producer Alex Crossan (aka Mura Masa) for a couple of years now. We saw him pop up on a colaboration with Billie Black in 2014 and then he went on to be featured in Chillwave Wednesday a couple of times before being included in our “Songs We Love This Summer” mix.
Crossan is from Guernsey in the Channel Islands and has been playing music from the age of 16. However, it wasn’t until 2014, after releasing his first mixtape called Soundtrack to a Death that Crossan began his career as “Mura Masa.”
After enjoying global success, Crossan released his debut EP, Someday Somewhere (April 10, 2015). The album’s single, “Lovesick Fuck” reached number 1 on the Spotify viral charts in the US and UK and the EP went on to have millions of listens.
