Pasteur Lappe

This is a monstrously funky number that I discovered on a Youtube kerb-crawling session after a few jars. I couldn’t put it better than one of the comments on the page: “This is insanely good. Composition amazing, and production tight as Tory government.”

Presumably there is all sorts of amazing stuff I ought to research at this point, into who Pasteur Lappe is or was. Well, I lifted my digits far enough to discover his amazing website, to gawp at the photos on it, & browse through some of the songs that you can click-to-buy or just play. This also gave me a little flavour of the Sekele funk movement that he spear-headed.

And then I got an even greater reward, which I’m delighted to share with you. This video – and please do suggest how we can find out where the original footage comes from.
