Song of The Day: Car Crash Telekinesis
I just got turned onto Telekinesis (Michael Benjamin Lerner) last week when he played the CMJ Merge Showcase at the Mercury Lounge. A friend of mine texted me at 1am and said “Telekinesis is killing it.” and then something or other about the bass player and bass lines. I gave them a listen and to my delight found everything he was bantering about to be true. 12 Desperate Straight Lines is a solid album from start to end with more hooks than a Boston fishing charter in high season.
