David Douglas

“California Poppy” is the first single off of David Douglas’s 8 track debut album entitled ‘Royal Horticultural Society.’ Interestingly enough, David Douglas took inspiration from an 18th-19th century Scottish scientist by the same name. David Douglas (1799) was a Scottish plant hunter who explored North America collecting seeds of plants and trees unknown to mankind at that time. The album is an exploration into music rather than plants, but it does give you the sense that you are traveling over mountain landscapes, arctic coastlines, and whispering fir forests.

The album is available now for only four Euros through Atomnation records.
