Some dreamy psych rock to get you through the winter months
Last year in June we featured the summer sounds of LA-based producer, Kowloon. This month he’s back with a brand new single called “This Dream” that explores the winter side of his music.
As you can probably imagine by the title, “This Dream” is a low-key piece of hazy psychedelia. Fuzzy pulsing basslines, a country-inflected telecaster and a wobbling Rhodes all add up to a light-hearted indie psych escape.
Lyrically “This Dream” explores the passing of time; life slipping through one’s fingers. A life lived in an intoxicating, nostalgic stupor.
