The New LoFi has recently come across a lot of great remixes by Boy 8-Bit (28-year-old David Morris from South London). His mixes stand out primarily because his approach to electro house music is totally fresh. Often childlike, innocent and light-hearted, he keeps things fun and creative. We dropped a few tracks into a mix tape below so you can check them out. Not included in this mix tape but fully worth a listen is his remix of La Roux’s “Quicksand” . . . Three thumbs up for the steel drums.
