The Amplifetes – Where Is the Light

The Amplifetes are a four-piece indie electro band from Sweden with something of a rocky edge, with catchy pop beats and even some elements of glitch thrown in there for good measure. Think “if Two Door Cinema Club was an electro band” and you’ll be getting in the ballpark.
Their new album, Where Is the Light, is an incredibly strong effort, with no clear standout track simply because all the tracks are so good. If I had to choose one, “You Me Evolution” is a real winner, but again, it’s a winner in a collection of winners. Definitely check this album out as one of the big indie-electro hits of the summer.
