Brazilian musicians Dino Almeida and Pedro Bonifrate make sunburnt psych-rock album as the band Guaxe
They say the first single off the album emerged “when a reverse acoustic guitar track and a slowed-down drum loop were accidentally mixed together on a 4-track tape recorder.” That’s the kind of interesting path the new album from created by Brazilian duo Pedro Bonifrate and Dino Almeida takes you on. The record is called Guaxe and it’s an album filled with unexpected melodies and sunburnt South American psych-rock.
What makes the release even better is that it’s available in a unique dual colored vinyl edition designed by Beatriz Perini. Only 2000 copies have been made and will available next month. Pre-order your copy at the Guaxe Bandcamp page.
