Eryn Allen Kane – Have Mercy
It’s not very often an artist has so much raw talent that everything else within a song becomes superfluous. Yet all the Chicago-based Eryn Allen Kane needed on her debut single, Have Mercy, was some thumb-clicks and a few vocal harmonies. That’s all there is, but it only serves to highlight her powerful vocal performance and lend a soulful, jazz vibe to the song.
The singer, who has worked with everyone from Chance the Rapper & The Social Experiment to Saba, is set to release her debut Album Aviary some time this summer. Stay tuned…
