“Sugar Hill” is the debut single from disco house duo, Rose Rose. The band-like project sees dreamy house vibes through a sort of 70s-era disco lens. The result is a funky bass-driven groove with a layer of buttery chilled-out vocals. This is laid-back music to the max.
The two self-taught young producers behind Rose Rose have been collaborating for the past few years between Paris and London. From the beginning, this collaborative and independent project has been organic but also digitised. The idea was to create a glittery atmosphere fused with a pop accents.
