Diplo Predicts
I could have sworn that we posted something about this a year or two ago but I can’t find it on the the site. Either way … I was listening to an interview with Diplo today on NPR. When asked what the next big sound will be, he referenced the pointy boots scene in the video above, calling the music “Tribal” – a style of music from Monterrey, Mexico, mixing African and Mesoamerican sounds with “cheesy techno riffs.” Check out a clip from the interview below.
